Responsibilities

- Collaborate with Data Science to ensure accurate event tracking.
- Improve experimentation velocity by streamlining tooling and analysis.
- Ensure system reliability and security at marketplace scale.
- Establish best practices for experimentation and statistical integrity.
- Influence technical direction through platform design leadership.
Requirements
- 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
- Strong experience in designing and operating distributed systems.
- Experience building or contributing to experimentation platforms.
- Fluency in backend technologies like Kotlin or Java.
- Deep experience with API design and relational databases.
- Understanding of event-driven architectures and data pipelines.
- Commitment to system reliability and performance.
- Ability to translate growth requirements into scalable solutions.
- Strong product instincts regarding platform decisions.
