Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive end-to-end technical solution design and delivery for large-scale, complex, and enterprise-wide projects.
- Design, develop, document, and support Java/Spring applications and related technical solutions.
- Create functional, technical, and user interface designs aligned with business requirements, enterprise architecture, performance standards, and development standards.
- Review technical deliverables and conduct code reviews for quality, standards compliance, reusability, and maintainability.
- Define metrics and performance goals, identify application integrity issues, and ensure solutions meet milestones, quality, security, scope, and cost expectations.
- Provide L3 production troubleshooting support and conduct Operational Readiness Reviews.
- Advise clients, partners, and project teams while generating stakeholder support for solution options.
- Coach, educate, mentor, and monitor team members in software development and Agile practices.
- Maintain and manage technical knowledge, documentation, reusable components, and traceability to business requirements.
Requirements
- 10+ years of development and design experience with J2EE and Java 8.
- 10+ years of experience with frameworks including Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, and Spring Security, including OAuth and LDAP.
- 5+ years of RESTful API experience.
- 5+ years of database knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with Maven, Jenkins, Gradle, Git, and Nexus.
- Expert knowledge of software design, development, support, solutions architecture, operating systems, programming languages, standards, tools, and technical environments.
- Ability to work autonomously in a lead capacity on diverse technical activities and coach or advise others.
- Experience with complex application and systems development, programming, technical design, stakeholder engagement, and production support.

- Base salary range of CAD 125,500 to CAD 154,000, with a temporary market premium reassessed annually.
