Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate backend services for minting, custody, and settlement of tokenized equities across blockchains.
- Own technically complex projects end to end, including design, implementation, rollout, and operation in a 24/7 system.
- Integrate traditional brokerage, ledger, and corporate-action infrastructure with on-chain systems, including smart contracts, chain indexers, and DEX trade flows.
- Translate regulatory constraints into workable system designs with product, compliance, legal, and platform partners.
- Raise engineering quality through design reviews, code reviews, and hands-on mentorship.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including delivery of large-scale distributed systems in production.
- Expertise in backend development with Go, Python, or Java.
- Deep familiarity with cloud-native architecture and technologies such as Kafka, Postgres, and Kubernetes, or equivalents.
- Strong understanding of correctness-critical systems, including idempotency, reconciliation, and failure-mode analysis.
- Experience owning ambiguous, cross-functional projects and making technical tradeoffs.
- Experience mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction beyond personal projects.
- Working knowledge of blockchain fundamentals such as EVM, smart contracts, wallets, and on-chain settlement, or the ability to develop that expertise quickly.
