Responsibilities
- Integrate and maintain multiple large C/C++ software stacks and projects for autonomous-driving system development.
- Develop and operate core build and test systems using Bazel.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and systems using GitHub Actions.
- Manage source code, dependencies, software deployment, storage, caching, repositories, and build tools.
- Maintain Ubuntu-based developer environments, OS images, repositories, build tools, and Docker containers.
- Support on-premises hardware-in-the-loop systems and test benches.
- Investigate build errors, provide build and CI technical support, and recommend best practices to developers.
- Help configure build and CI systems for new development projects and optimize infrastructure resources.
- Evaluate and introduce systems for source-code and dependency management.
- Collaborate with perception, planning, control, data, and other autonomous-driving engineering subteams.
Requirements
- Practical experience with C/C++, including C++14 or later.
- Practical experience developing, operating, and maintaining CI/CD environments.
- Extensive experience with Linux operating systems.
- Extensive Git experience on projects involving many developers.
- General experience using Bazel on large-scale projects.
- General experience with scripting languages such as Bash and Python.
- At least five years of relevant professional experience.
- Business-level English proficiency.
- Preferred: experience with modern C++ such as C++17 or later, software-development best practices, AWS or GCP cloud infrastructure, Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools, compiler toolchains such as Clang, GCC, or NVCC, and Python packaging.
- Business-level Japanese proficiency is preferred.
