Responsibilities
- Build and maintain Java-based distributed systems and RESTful APIs.
- Design and optimize concurrent, high-performance systems, including memory management and bottleneck resolution.
- Work with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Data, JPA, Istio, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Manage deployment strategies, environments, monitoring, and infrastructure across staging, production, and integration environments.
- Develop and maintain automated API, integration, and validation tests within deployment pipelines.
- Define performance metrics, profile systems, and resolve bottlenecks in large-scale applications.
- Recommend effective use of AI tools to improve drafting, analysis, research, and process automation workflows.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of Java 11, 17, or 21, including multithreading, memory management, performance optimization, and concurrent data processing.
- Expertise with Spring and Spring Boot, including RESTful APIs, dependency injection, configuration management, and Spring Data/JPA integration.
- Experience designing and maintaining distributed systems with service mesh patterns, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong understanding of deployment pipelines, automated testing, and environment management.
- Experience with container orchestration, blue/green deployments, rolling updates, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Working knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud environments.
- Proficiency with JUnit, Mockito, and integration testing frameworks.
- Ability to design and maintain automated API tests and validation suites.
- Experience defining performance metrics, profiling systems, and resolving large-scale system bottlenecks.
- Ability to use and recommend AI tools for day-to-day work optimization is preferred.
