Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable systems that handle millions of transactions.
- Design and maintain secure, scalable APIs.
- Develop distributed backend systems using stateless architectures.
- Work with event streaming technologies and relational and non-relational data stores.
- Build containerized microservices and cloud-native solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-skilled engineering teams and contribute to continuous technical improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong Python development skills and comfort working in Unix/Linux environments.
- Thorough understanding of computer science fundamentals, object-oriented concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience developing distributed backend systems and stateless architectures.
- Proven ability to design and maintain secure, scalable APIs.
- Experience with event streaming, relational and non-relational data stores, containerization, and cloud service providers.
- Preferred experience with AWS, Git, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Elastic, Redis, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
