Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify user requirements and incorporate feedback and actionable metrics into designs.
- Contribute to product architecture, create proposals, own solutions, and ensure security and compliance.
- Implement, review, and maintain extensible and reliable code for products, services, and features.
- Execute project plans, break down work items, conduct experiments, and support safe feature deployments.
- Manage live-service operations, serve as an on-call Designated Responsible Individual, integrate telemetry, and analyze system health data.
- Improve developer tools and production automation while supporting security, privacy, quality, and compliance.
- Partner across the Microsoft ecosystem to deliver effective user experiences and meet customer and partner needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field plus 2 or more years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Experience building software and services on Microsoft Azure or another cloud computing platform.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree plus 3 or more years of experience, or a bachelor's degree plus 5 or more years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to contribute to ML infrastructure, AI-powered operations, automation, reliability, security, and responsible AI practices.

- The position includes a Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire or transfer and every two years thereafter.
- The typical U.S. base pay range is USD $102,100-$202,200 per year, with a separate range for specified San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area locations.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
