Base Salary

$103k - $188k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Work directly with clients to transform business problems into technology solutions.
  • Analyze business requirements for alignment with technology architecture, infrastructure design, vendor selection, and implementation plans.
  • Contribute subject-matter expertise to architecture, data model, system design, and interfacing requirements.
  • Advise clients on business process services and support implementation of technology solutions.
  • Deliver system implementations through requirements definition, architecture design, conversion, testing, and other project life-cycle phases.
  • Create proofs of concept for complex design methodologies and provide alternative solution options.
  • Collaborate with client engagement teams, technology professionals, and strategic alliance partners.
  • Research client inquiries and emerging issues involving regulations, industry practices, and application technologies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree in one of these fields with 2+ years of relevant experience.
  • Relevant experience at a property and casualty insurance carrier or consulting firm.
  • Previous application experience with Guidewire, OneShield, Exigen/EIS, Majesco, Duck Creek, Insurity, Sapiens/Adaptik, FirstBest, Business Objects, Cognos, or Informatica.
  • Proficiency in system selection and implementation, business and technical requirements, architecture design, application configuration and integration, or data mapping, conversion, and migration.
  • Experience delivering implementations through requirements definition, architecture design, conversion, and testing using a proven methodology.
  • Experience with software engineering processes, code review methodologies, and code optimization tools and techniques.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical writing and client presentations.
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking and research client inquiries and emerging issues.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as necessary.
  • Preferred experience includes management reporting, business intelligence, decision support, data warehousing, enterprise data design and management, enterprise application integration, impact analysis, and end-to-end solutions across connected systems.

Benefits

  • Base salary is listed as $102,500 to $187,900 for all US geographic locations, with a separate range of $122,900 to $213,400 for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California excluding Sacramento.
