Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and optimize custom SAP software components across systems and applications.
- Define technical designs using SAP standards, reference architectures, design patterns, decision matrices, and best practices.
- Implement SAP S/4HANA extensions, enhancements, Cloud Ready BADIs, key-user extensibility, workflows, forms, reports, and output management.
- Act as a subject-matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across immediate and multiple teams.
- Lead software quality and delivery best practices while mentoring junior team members.
- Collaborate with client leadership, architects, PMO, cross-functional teams, and other stakeholders.
- Apply Clean Core principles and decision matrices for forms, enhancements, workflows, and reports.
- Participate in stand-ups, update stories in JIRA, and adapt to the client’s ways of working.
Requirements
- Minimum 7.5 years of professional experience is required; the posting also specifies at least 8 years of SAP ABAP Cloud experience and 7–10 years of SAP experience.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Proficiency in SAP ABAP Cloud and SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP on S/4HANA, RESTful ABAP Programming, CDS, OData, Fiori Elements, Flexible Workflows, and BRF+.
- Experience with S/4HANA extensibility, enhancements, Cloud Ready BADIs, and Key User Extensibility.
- Knowledge of SAP BTP integration and technical connectivity with SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Understanding and practical use of Clean Core decision matrices.
- Knowledge of cloud software development, deployment processes, debugging, performance tuning, and optimization in SAP environments.
- Experience with agile software development and continuous integration.
- Ability to design modular and reusable components for complex business applications.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, collaboration, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
