Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and evolve cloud and Kubernetes infrastructure for Ericsson’s mobile financial services platform.
- Perform installation, integration, upgrades, troubleshooting, patching, maintenance, and controlled infrastructure changes.
- Support Amazon EKS clusters, including node groups, networking, access control, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor platforms, conduct root-cause analysis, and support incident, problem, and change management.
- Support deployments, migrations, capacity planning, HLD/LLD reviews, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Configure and analyze AWS Network Firewall rules, inspection policies, logs, and blocked flows.
- Collaborate with application, platform, network, security, and architecture teams.
- Participate in 24/7 support and travel for on-site work when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor-level academic degree in engineering, IT, or telecommunications.
- More than 5 years of related experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging experience across AWS infrastructure and containerized environments.
- Experience with Amazon EKS, EC2, EBS, ECR, S3, Route 53, IAM, WAF, and AWS Systems Manager.
- Experience with Kubernetes infrastructure components including CNI, load balancing, storage, and DNS.
- Experience with CloudWatch, AWS logging, observability, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.
- Experience with Terraform or infrastructure as code, AWS CLI, kubectl, Ansible, and Python or equivalent scripting.
- Strong collaboration, analytical, communication, and technical problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to participate in 24/7 support and travel for on-site work when required.
- Experience with AWS observability tools, dashboards, and OpenTelemetry is preferred.
- Familiarity with KMS, CloudHSM, and PrivateLink or VPC Endpoints is preferred.
- Experience running banking or financial systems is preferred.
