Base Salary
$100k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead projects across the full lifecycle from defining and designing solutions through development and implementation.
- Develop custom software and AI solutions using the Appian platform for commercial clients.
- Understand client business processes and technical needs and launch relational data models into production.
- Develop APIs and integrations with multiple systems.
- Brainstorm AI use cases and implement RAG, agentic workflows, prompt engineering, and generative models.
- Partner with Appian Architects and Technical Delivery Managers during software implementations.
- Lead and mentor consultants in a fast-paced post-sale environment.
- Collaborate with client technical teams and business users throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Drive client adoption by enabling customers to become self-sufficient in building process applications.
Requirements
- 7+ years of hands-on software development or technical consulting experience.
- B.S. or B.A. in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience leading teams through post-sale software implementations and mentoring or developing others.
- Ability to define business processes and gather functional and technical system requirements with clients.
- Basic object-oriented programming knowledge and experience with relational databases, database design, data modeling, and SQL.
- Experience with software testing practices, automated test suites, continuous integration, APIs, REST, SOAP, JDBC connections, and web services.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS, artificial intelligence, analytics, machine learning, Google Cloud, application integration, database, developer tools, management and governance, and elastic containers.
- Willingness to travel 20% or less annually.
