Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical strategy, architectural design, and implementation of foundational Cloud Directory services.
- Drive alignment with PM, UX leadership, and stakeholders across Workspace, GCP, Android Enterprise, and Chrome Enterprise to shape product roadmaps and deliver customer lifecycle and organization governance solutions.
- Navigate extreme ambiguity and drive technical goals for complex, large-scale initiatives.
- Set engineering standards, drive system health best practices, and mentor mid-level and executive engineers.
- Lead architectural evolution and migration of mission-critical legacy systems at scale.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience programming in Java.
- At least 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.
- At least 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, networks, compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- At least 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred qualifications include expertise in large-scale distributed systems, cross-functional technical solution design, legacy-system migration, high-impact technical initiatives, and resolving complex ambiguity.

- US base salary of $207000-$300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
