Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Deploy and operate applications on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
- Develop and maintain Helm charts for complex application deployments.
- Implement and manage observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions.
- Manage Kubernetes infrastructure, including nodes, auto-scaling, configuration, and secrets.
- Configure and support gateways, virtual services, and service mesh technologies, with Anthos Service Mesh preferred.
- Build operational dashboards for infrastructure monitoring, utilization, and cost reporting.
- Drive cloud cost optimization and platform-efficiency initiatives.
- Build performance optimization for a monorepo.
- Implement security guardrails and support production-scale cloud platforms.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with GCP services.
- Expertise in Kubernetes and GKE administration and operations.
- Proficiency with GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.
- Experience developing and managing Helm charts.
- Strong understanding of monitoring, alerting, and observability practices.
- Experience with infrastructure automation, secrets management, and service networking.
- Knowledge of Anthos Service Mesh is desirable.
- Experience supporting production-scale cloud platforms and exposure to infrastructure cost management and optimization are preferred.
- Strong cloud-native troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to use AI tools productively and responsibly while applying critical judgment to data and AI outputs.
