Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, customize, and optimize Blue Yonder/JDA WMS modules for warehouse operations and strategic projects.
- Analyze application code, configurations, data, and logs to identify root causes and resolve or optimize system issues.
- Lead functional design activities, including business process design, functional specifications, technical requirements, test planning, and test scenario development.
- Integrate Blue Yonder WMS with ERP, TMS, and adjacent systems using SOAP/REST web services, APIs, EDI, and middleware platforms.
- Support software deployments, rollout scripts, and change management across development, QA, and production environments.
- Collect and analyze warehouse data, develop performance KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and implement process improvements.
- Monitor inventory, conduct audits, and reduce stock discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Blue Yonder/JDA, integration, IT, business, and distribution center teams to resolve operational issues.
- Configure and troubleshoot RF scanners, printers, conveyor systems, and other warehouse equipment or devices.
- Develop and deliver training programs and documentation for warehouse staff.
- Travel to distribution center locations when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, CIS, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- At least 5 years of hands-on Blue Yonder/JDA WMS experience, including at least one full-cycle implementation as an engineer or consultant.
- At least 2 years of technical RDBMS experience with proficient SQL across Oracle, SQL Server, and MySQL.
- Deep understanding of MOCA and experience configuring and customizing Blue Yonder WMS modules.
- Experience with Java/J2EE, Perl or a comparable language, RESTful APIs, JSON, SOAP, and API integration testing.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing Jasper Reports and customizing pages with page builder frameworks.
- Experience integrating WMS platforms with HOST/ERP systems and automated material handling equipment using XML and CSV data formats.
- Experience writing complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
- Experience with warehouse layouts, picking strategies, wave management, replenishment logic, and warehouse operations.
- Experience with middleware and integration technologies such as MuleSoft, TIBCO, Boomi, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Event Grid.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and warehousing concepts, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work with IT and business stakeholders.
- Experience with Agile methodology and API-based integrations.
- Preferred experience includes other best-of-breed WMS applications, retail eCommerce, Microsoft Power BI, parcel shipping software, label printers, hip printers, and warehouse equipment or devices.
