Base Salary
$102k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, review, test, and maintain product and service features with minimal supervision.
- Develop architecture proposals, design documents, test strategies, and scalable, reliable, maintainable code.
- Build production and deployment automation, deployment safeguards, rollback plans, and production-like testing environments.
- Apply secure design principles, threat modeling, security monitoring, compliance controls, and least-privilege practices.
- Operate live-site services through rotational on-call support, incident response, telemetry analysis, troubleshooting, and reliability improvements.
- Collaborate with partner teams, product managers, security and privacy stakeholders, and technical leads to understand requirements and deliver customer-facing features.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 2+ years of technical engineering experience with coding, or equivalent experience.
- Applicants must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret Clearance with access to SCI based on an SSBI with Polygraph.
- Candidates must satisfy required Microsoft, customer, and government security screenings and verify U.S. citizenship.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience building and supporting large-scale production services with logging, monitoring, alerting, reliability, and availability practices is preferred.
- Experience with DevOps systems, source code management, CI/CD pipelines, code review tools, debugging across operating systems and cloud environments, and cloud security disciplines is preferred.
Benefits
- Typical U.S. base pay is $102,100–$202,200 per year, with a separate San Francisco Bay Area and New York City range of $133,800–$219,200 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position is open for at least five days and accepts applications on an ongoing basis until filled.
