Base Salary

$85k - $184k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product managers and technical leads to understand requirements and incorporate feedback.
  • Contribute to solution architecture, design documents, and alignment with security, privacy, and compliance requirements.
  • Implement maintainable and extensible code and participate in code reviews.
  • Develop test plans, integrate automation, and ensure robust coverage for backend services.
  • Improve telemetry, tools, processes, reliability, accessibility, observability, monitoring, and performance at scale.
  • Deliver customer-focused search and Copilot experiences while partnering effectively across organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline with proven coding experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven coding experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Hands-on software design and coding experience.
  • Problem-solving, design, implementation, and communication skills.
  • Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or a bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years of technical engineering experience.
  • Preferred: experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow, Spark or PySpark, stream processing systems, cloud services, and debugging complex issues across client and server layers.

Benefits

  • The typical U.S. base pay range is $85,400-$168,100 per year, with a separate range for the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area.
  • The position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the role is filled.
