Base Salary
$190k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as the ongoing technical point of contact for partners’ engineering teams after launch.
- Monitor integration health, feature adoption, and stability using telemetry, logs, and dashboards.
- Own technical escalations end-to-end by reproducing issues, identifying root causes, and driving resolution across Parafin and partner systems.
- Use logs, SQL queries, data inspection, and API calls to isolate integration problems.
- Partner with Product and Platform Engineering to ship durable fixes.
- Build tooling, automation, runbooks, and self-serve workflows for scaled technical support.
- Own technical documentation standards and public-facing developer documentation.
- Identify recurring issues and address their root causes through tooling, documentation, or product changes.
- Translate partner needs into prioritized feedback and platform, API, and partner-asset improvements.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a client-facing technical role such as post-sales or solutions engineering, technical partner support, developer support engineering, or technical account management.
- Engineering background with fluency in one or more of Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, or Scala.
- Ability to navigate a production codebase, with Parafin’s codebase primarily using React, Scala, and Python.
- Strong hands-on debugging skills, including reading logs, writing SQL, inspecting data pipelines, and reproducing issues with API calls.
- Proficiency with integration technologies including REST APIs, webhooks, SDKs, data pipelines, and embeddable UI components.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to engineers, non-technical stakeholders, and executives.
- Partner-focused problem-solving skills and a track record of improving partner experience.
- Ability to turn one-off fixes into documentation, tooling, and repeatable processes.
- Ability to work effectively in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience in fintech, payments, lending, or money movement, including ledgering and reconciliation concepts.
- Preferred familiarity with SQL and monitoring or observability tooling such as dashboards, logging, and alerting.
- Preferred knowledge of integration design and technical scoping best practices.
- Preferred experience building or improving developer-facing documentation and self-serve support.
