Responsibilities
- Shape the architecture and long-term technical vision of backend systems for the Yield squad.
- Deliver client signup, investment, and redemption workflows end to end.
- Build reconciliation controls, unit registries, investment ledgers, and other financial infrastructure.
- Develop reliable and maintainable code, APIs, observability, automated testing, and integration rails.
- Partner with Product, Infrastructure, Design, and external investment providers.
- Own the roadmap and help establish technical foundations for a new business accounts platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or above in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Experience solving distributed systems challenges involving scalability, consistency, and latency.
- Strong backend engineering experience with Kotlin, Vert.x, Temporal, and Kafka.
- Experience with automated testing and quality control processes.
- Experience with cloud technologies such as GCP or AWS, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience integrating observability tools such as Splunk, New Relic, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Preferred experience in financial services, lending, payments, credit products, or SaaS platform products.
