Base Salary

$105k - $235k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-team development of middleware patterns and runtimes for interoperability and scale.
  • Define versioning, deprecation, lifecycle, compatibility, and safe rollout strategies.
  • Establish observability, SLO, error-budget, resilience, capacity-planning, monitoring, and availability practices across services.
  • Design, develop, test, debug, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain scalable software and APIs.
  • Lead code reviews, architecture reviews, technical research, and adherence to software development and coding standards.
  • Provide technical guidance, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced developers.
  • Investigate broad-reaching customer issues and defects, recommend enhancements, and improve issue-handling and training processes.
  • Coordinate tasks, timelines, deliverables, and technical oversight across multiple projects.
  • Participate in candidate interviews and provide hiring recommendations.

Requirements

  • Advanced software development and architecture knowledge with experience designing scalable systems, APIs, middleware, or runtimes.
  • Ability to resolve complex cross-service, integration, performance, maintenance, and customer-reported issues.
  • Experience with versioning, deprecation, interoperability, rollout strategies, testing, monitoring, observability, and secure coding practices.
  • Ability to provide technical leadership, coaching, mentoring, code reviews, and architectural guidance across teams.
  • Ability to coordinate moderately complex projects and collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and external partners.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle practices, software quality standards, performance optimization, and service reliability.

Benefits

  • US hiring range is $104,500 to $234,600 per annum, with potential bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
