Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality, scalable, and responsive backend software.
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain APIs and other software services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
- Troubleshoot and debug software defects.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and global cross-functional teams.
- Participate in Agile sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to and triage operational issues.
- Depending on team placement, work on core data services, identity and security infrastructure, or AI evaluation infrastructure.
Requirements
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in at least one of Java, Python, Scala, or PHP.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services.
- Experience designing and developing APIs.
- Ability to design, build, and deploy high-quality software.
- Strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, software design principles, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with Node.js is a plus.
- Proficiency in English.
