Responsibilities
- Create detailed test plans and strategies for features and releases, identifying testing scope and risk areas.
- Design and execute manual testing for complex features, including functional and edge-case scenarios.
- Develop and maintain automated end-to-end test scripts using Playwright and Selenium.
- Build and improve automated functional and non-functional testing solutions.
- Investigate production issues and incidents, perform root-cause analysis, and document findings.
- Collaborate with Development and Operations teams to integrate testing into the software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
- Share testing knowledge, guide less experienced engineers, and improve team testing processes and frameworks.
Requirements
- 8+ years of test automation engineering experience with deep SDET expertise and a record of technical leadership.
- BS in Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for scalable test automation frameworks.
- Deep expertise with Playwright and Selenium, including cross-browser automation, API testing, and framework architecture.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, including BDD with tools such as Cucumber.
- Experience designing performance testing strategies and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives with measurable cross-team impact.
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior and mid-level engineers.
- Strong oral and written communication, stakeholder influence, and collaboration skills across agile teams.
