Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site field service support for software and hardware issues on deployed Artidis systems.
- Diagnose, reproduce, analyze, and resolve software issues and support root-cause corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain service tools, scripts, and minor software patches for troubleshooting and operational performance.
- Support system installation, commissioning, validation, software configuration, and functionality verification.
- Test and verify software updates before deployment to field systems.
- Write technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and service procedures.
- Communicate field observations and technical feedback to software, hardware, operations, headquarters, and global site teams.
- Maintain accurate service records and reports covering troubleshooting activities and system performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with software troubleshooting, debugging, and root-cause analysis in technical systems.
- Ability to read and understand Qt/C++ and QML code and perform basic modifications or diagnostics.
- Familiarity with software documentation, requirements, and troubleshooting procedures.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of medical-device quality and regulatory requirements, including FDA, ISO 13485, IEC 62304, or similar standards.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and independent task-management skills.
- Ability to collaborate with European headquarters and international sites in a field-service environment.
