Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, unit test, and develop robust large-scale applications.
- Create secure, scalable, and highly available distributed applications.
- Own product feature design and development through the software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with product management and quality assurance to deliver features and functionality.
- Participate in code and feature reviews and provide technical feedback.
- Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams for owned features.
- Mentor and coach other team members.
- Write technical documentation for new modules and products.
- Participate in the full lifecycle development process from definition and design through product delivery.
Requirements
- BE/BTech/MCA/MSC IT with 5–9 years of experience.
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented methodologies, enterprise application architectures, and design patterns.
- Expert knowledge of application development using Java.
- Experience creating Spring Boot applications deployed to public cloud environments such as AWS or Azure.
- Strong experience with software design and unit/integration testing using JUnit.
- Understanding of secure coding, scalability, performance, and reliability.
- Experience with relational database management systems and NoSQL databases such as Cassandra.
- Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka and JMS.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, written, and spoken English skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative, iterative, test-driven programming environment.
- Agile development experience is a plus.
- Strong Navis N4 terminal operating system domain knowledge is an advantage.
