Base Salary
$131k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with cross-functional teams to shape long-term billing architecture.
- Design the components of a modern billing platform including usage events and invoice workflows.
- Build systems that accurately meter product usage and support pricing changes.
- Develop an entitlement layer to manage feature access and plan controls.
- Ensure coherence in quote-to-cash flows across various systems.
- Troubleshoot billing discrepancies and data mismatches.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer with backend systems.
- Experience architecting billing or quote-to-cash systems for B2B SaaS.
- Proficiency in designing APIs and event-driven systems.
- Understanding of modern billing models like usage-based pricing.
- Experience with systems integration involving Salesforce and ERP tools.
- Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful services, and relational databases.
