Responsibilities
- Build the UK QA function’s strategy, processes, tooling, and standards in partnership with the US QA Lead.
- Design and own testing for agentic workflows, LLM outputs, AI-driven features, and evaluation frameworks.
- Develop automated tests with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Perform manual testing, regression testing, and UAT as required for releases.
- Establish company-wide quality practices that prevent defects and embed quality into development.
- Work closely with Engineering and Product to integrate quality throughout the build process.
Requirements
- Experience building a QA function from a small or early-stage foundation, or strong motivation to establish one.
- Practical experience testing AI-led products or a strong understanding of why AI product testing differs from conventional software testing.
- Hands-on proficiency with Playwright and TypeScript automation, manual testing, regression testing, and UAT.
- Strong fundamentals in test strategy, defect management, and release processes.
- Willingness to lead by doing and remain hands-on as the UK QA function grows.
