Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, scalable, fault-tolerant, observable AWS serverless solutions using infrastructure as code.
- Build and maintain pipelines to deploy, monitor, and manage AI services at scale.
- Collaborate with AI researchers and engineers to translate AI and LLM capabilities into production-grade services and integrations.
- Own services end to end across architecture, implementation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Use AI-powered development tools for coding, testing, debugging, and architecture exploration while validating outputs responsibly.
- Participate in architecture discussions, design reviews, product design, and customer-problem discovery.
- Contribute to a collaborative agile team through pairing, planning, execution, and delivery improvements.
Requirements
- Professional software engineering experience building web applications in an agile environment.
- Hands-on AWS experience and familiarity with infrastructure as code such as CDK or Terraform.
- Backend proficiency with RESTful APIs, Node.js/TypeScript or Python, Git, and SQL databases such as PostgreSQL.
- Frontend familiarity with React or Angular.
- Practical experience using AI tools such as code assistants, prompt engineering, and AI-assisted debugging or testing.
- Understanding of AI and LLM concepts including tokens, context length, embeddings, hallucinations, and safe versus unsafe use cases.
- Ability to write readable, well-tested, secure code aligned with SOLID principles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain architectural and technical concepts clearly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Preferred experience with AWS CDK, TypeScript, React, microservices, event-driven architecture, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing on AWS, production AI applications, MLOps, prompt or flow management, data drift, performance monitoring, RAG pipelines, or semantic search.
