Base Salary
$130k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain production-grade AI agents and multi-agent workflows.
- Integrate agents with enterprise systems through APIs, tools, MCP servers, plugins, and skills.
- Drive technical strategy and architecture for agentic AI initiatives and communicate decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead cross-functional delivery of complex agent-powered projects and coordinate team activities.
- Implement agent deployment, monitoring, versioning, cost monitoring, performance optimization, tracing, decision logging, and failure analysis.
- Define and automate agent evaluation, prompt validation, tool validation, workflow, and adversarial testing strategies.
- Monitor service health and agent performance, conduct root cause analysis, and improve reliability and quality.
- Mentor engineers and advocate for engineering excellence and modern agent development practices.
- Evaluate emerging agentic AI technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience, including 2+ years building agentic AI systems or LLM-powered applications in production.
- Deep expertise in one or more of Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building production agents with Google ADK, Anthropic Claude SDK, LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
- Experience designing multi-agent systems, orchestration patterns, tool-use architectures, prompt engineering, and context engineering.
- Experience integrating agents with enterprise systems through REST APIs, MCP, function calling, and related protocols.
- Extensive software architecture and design experience with scalable and reliable systems in a DevOps model.
- Track record of leading large-scale, complex software projects, including agentic AI initiatives.
- Proficiency with GCP, Vertex AI, Azure, Azure OpenAI, AWS, Bedrock, and GitHub.
- Experience building telemetry and observability for agentic systems, including execution tracing, decision logging, cost monitoring, and success-rate tracking.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-influence skills.
