Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable backend services based on Python.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices for reliable, flexible applications.
- Design, implement, and operate data pipelines and data-processing workflows.
- Work with complex datasets to produce useful, actionable insights.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to translate ideas into practical solutions.
- Maintain code quality through reviews, testing, and established engineering practices.
- Monitor, analyze, optimize, and troubleshoot systems across the full development process.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- At least five years of practical professional experience.
- Very strong Python skills and experience developing and continuously improving production-ready systems.
- Solid experience with REST APIs, microservice architectures, and modern backend design.
- Good understanding of data pipelines, data processing, and databases such as PostgreSQL and Neo4j.
- Experience with cloud platforms; AWS experience is advantageous.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset, strong communication skills, ability to work in dynamic environments, and German proficiency at B2 level.
