Responsibilities

Develop Python-based products and applications for on-premises and cloud environments.
Monitor and improve Natural Language Understanding model performance and support NLP-focused data analytics efforts.
Further develop Clifford Chance’s generative AI solutions and execute data science use cases as needed.
Design and implement applications in collaboration with IT, product development, and Data & Analytics AI teams.
Create and document application architectures and explain technical solutions to stakeholders.
Apply software engineering, Agile, and DevOps practices to deliver maintainable and scalable applications.
Identify emerging technologies relevant to the Data Science Lab and Legal Technology Solutions.
Contribute to the team’s architecture and development direction while maintaining high code quality.

6–7 years of total professional experience, including at least three years with the listed technologies.
A BSc or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
Advanced Python proficiency, including multithreading, document processing, and packaging.
Experience with Azure AI Services, GPT models, vector search, Cognitive Search, Document Intelligence, and Azure queues.
Theoretical understanding of LLM-driven applications and hands-on experience configuring Azure OpenAI language models.
Experience with deep learning, Natural Language Processing, machine learning, data exploration, and building machine learning models.
Strong software engineering skills, including code quality, debugging, and Azure CI/CD.
Experience load testing generative AI applications and working with Databricks and Spark.
Ability to document code and detailed designs, troubleshoot problems, and communicate effectively with varied stakeholders.
Customer-facing interaction or consulting experience is a plus.
