Responsibilities
- Shape SAP’s AI technology strategy and NorthStar Architecture across technology, platform, and application teams.
- Lead architecture reviews and executive communications while representing AI architecture at the executive level.
- Guide responsible adoption of LLMs, RAG, multi-agent systems, agentic orchestration, and context engineering.
- Embed evaluation, benchmark engineering, and AI output quality assurance practices into engineering teams.
- Set standards for CI/CD, MLOps, and secure architecture practices.
- Mentor senior architects and build AI adoption capability across SAP engineering.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in software development or architecture, including large-scale systems and a deep focus on AI and ML.
- 5+ years of technical leadership and executive stakeholder engagement.
- Hands-on cloud engineering experience.
- 2+ years of experience in agentic engineering and LLM-based systems.
- Experience with responsible AI and a broad perspective on AI and cloud technology.
- A degree in a technical field is required.
- Fluency in English is required.
