Responsibilities
- Define tasks, coach engineers, and drive medium- to large-scale initiatives across a product or product line.
- Lead the design of complex multi-service Salesforce and cloud solutions and promote architectural consistency.
- Define technical strategy for major components and services while mentoring senior engineers and reviewing architecture and code quality.
- Design and implement Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud and Health Cloud solutions for patient support services.
- Configure Agentforce, agent actions, compliance guardrails, and Prompt Builder for life sciences AI-agent use cases.
- Implement Salesforce Shield capabilities to secure sensitive Patient Health Information.
- Guide integrations and data flows between Salesforce and external data lakes or warehouses using MuleSoft or similar tools.
- Manage sandbox landscapes, deployment strategies, observability, monitoring, performance profiling, and cross-service issue resolution.
- Develop testing and automation strategies, apply security best practices, and conduct threat modeling.
- Support global technical initiatives through publications, presentations, speeches, events, Centers of Excellence, and knowledge-sharing programs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience defining tasks, coaching engineers, and successfully driving medium- to large-scale initiatives across a product or product line.
- Proven experience contributing to technical strategy for major components or services and participating in global knowledge-sharing events.
- Deep hands-on experience designing and implementing Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud and/or Salesforce Health Cloud.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud and how to extend them for patient support services.
- Proficiency with Flow Builder and deep familiarity with OmniStudio, including FlexCards, OmniScripts, and DataRaptors.
- Hands-on experience configuring and deploying Agentforce, defining agent actions, setting compliance guardrails, and using Prompt Builder.
- Experience with Einstein AI capabilities for next-best-action or patient insights.
- Proven experience implementing Salesforce Shield, including Platform Encryption, Field Audit Trail, and Event Monitoring, for sensitive PHI.
- Working knowledge of MuleSoft or other iPaaS tools for orchestrating complex data flows.
- Solid understanding of Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and SOSL for guiding technical teams and reviewing architecture.
- Experience with Salesforce DX and Salesforce-specific CI/CD pipelines, complex sandbox landscapes, and multi-workstream deployment strategies.
- Experience implementing reusable Infrastructure as Code modules, designing observability, improving monitoring, and solving cross-service issues.
- Strong background in advanced testing strategies, automation, security best practices, and threat modeling.
- Exceptional leadership, mentorship, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder partnership skills.
