Responsibilities
- Develop scalable, reliable, and manageable enterprise architecture solutions for new deals and major change requests.
- Provide RFP solutioning, design assurance, target-state architecture, integration recommendations, and investment roadmaps.
- Lead the design, development, implementation, validation, documentation, and quality assurance of custom solutions.
- Identify architectural, technical, process, and structural risks and create mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with clients, sales, consulting, project, program, IT, product, and delivery teams to reconcile requirements and transition solutions.
- Present solution designs to clients, negotiate requirements, and act as a trusted technical advisor.
- Develop reusable frameworks, patterns, tools, automation, prototypes, case studies, demos, white papers, and points of view.
- Mentor developers, designers, and junior architects and contribute to architecture-practice interviews and capability building.
- Hire, onboard, train, manage performance, support career progression, and drive engagement for team members.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to create enterprise-wide architectural solutions and provide technical leadership for custom implementations.
- Experience analyzing technology environments, enterprise requirements, client needs, and business outcomes to define solution architectures.
- Ability to document architecture designs, assess technology and cost structures, identify tradeoffs, and recommend target-state solutions.
- Ability to communicate architectural recommendations and present complete solution designs to clients and executives.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, report assignment status, establish KPIs and SLAs, and follow project management standards.
- Ability to identify and mitigate implementation risks and ensure architecture principles and standards are consistently applied.
- Ability to build relationships with executives, technical leaders, product owners, peer architects, stakeholders, and delivery teams.
- Ability to mentor team members and manage recruiting, onboarding, training, performance, retention, diversity, and engagement.
- Ability to develop proofs of concept, case studies, demos, white papers, blogs, and external or internal presentations.
