Base Salary
$139k - $174k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement, test, optimize, and support scalable services and tools for performance and monitoring problems.
- Develop control-plane software and APIs for DNS and networking products.
- Collaborate across networking teams to define API contracts and build new products and services.
- Operate and improve existing products, tooling, processes, and mission-critical ecosystem components.
- Help establish development, architecture, and engineering best practices.
- Deploy and operate Linux-based virtual and bare-metal hosts.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing full-stack applications with databases and APIs.
- Experience leading work across multiple teams to build API contracts.
- Experience deploying and operating Linux (Ubuntu)-based virtual and bare-metal hosts.
- Experience programming in Go and writing unit tests.
- Some experience designing and developing high-performance systems.
- DNS and networking knowledge, or a strong willingness to learn.
- Experience with cloud development, containerization, and virtualization.
- Experience with continuous integration and delivery.
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or relevant equivalent experience.
- Experience with gRPC, Temporal, and Kafka is a bonus.
