Base Salary
$208k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of core pillars of the Caspian Data Platform.
- Define engineering patterns and reference architectures for Databricks pipelines.
- Establish benchmarks for data quality and governance.
- Lead complex initiatives spanning multiple quarters and teams.
- Apply AI across data engineering workflows and develop initial versions.
- Mentor senior engineers and raise code quality standards.
Requirements
- 10+ years of data engineering experience with a strong track record.
- Deep mastery of Databricks, including Delta Live Tables and Spark.
- Demonstrated ownership of ingestion, transformation, governance, and data quality.
- Expertise in SQL and Python for complex data modeling and transformation.
- Strong AWS experience operating data systems at scale.
- History of setting technical standards and patterns for engineering teams.
- Experience integrating AI tooling into data engineering workflows.
- Ability to influence through technical credibility.
