Base Salary
$176k - $320k/yr
Responsibilities
- Analyze system-level implications of Nuro’s autonomy architecture and software.
- Define requirements for fault handling within the autonomy software architecture.
- Drive fault-centric validation concepts from prototype to production.
- Support development of tools for fault injection and result interpretation.
- Extract high-impact metrics and performance indicators for autonomous driving.
- Contribute to automated evaluation tools for test logs.
Requirements
- 3+ years of technical work experience in robotics software or a relevant area.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Math, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Physics, or related field.
- Strong programming and algorithmic problem-solving skills in C++/C.
- Experience with Linux or Unix systems engineering.
- Knowledge of fault detection, isolation, and recovery (FDIR) in autonomous systems.
- Ability to define requirements using data-driven techniques.
- Experience in identifying emergent behavior in complex systems.
