Base Salary
$145k - $160k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize high-performance services for core Framework systems.
- Implement and enhance support for networking layers and protocols.
- Participate in technical design, architecture decisions, documentation, code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Investigate production and performance issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
- Collaborate with Product and platform, infrastructure, and cloud engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Contribute to platform modernization, technology evaluation, observability, reliability, and operational readiness.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, STEM, or a related field requiring systematic and analytical thinking.
- 4+ years of professional experience designing and delivering production software.
- Strong expertise in C and C++, with experience in Go and Python.
- Experience developing on Linux systems, including multithreading, memory management, and inter-process communication.
- Experience building and maintaining performance-critical systems.
- Ability to debug complex issues using tools such as gdb, core dumps, and performance tools.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP and packet processing.
- Strong command of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Nice-to-have experience with HTTP, SMB, Kerberos, TLS, Microsoft protocols, cloud platforms such as AWS, distributed systems, observability, on-call practices, and production systems.
