Base Salary
$210k - $255k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the full detection stack including heuristics and threshold calibration.
- Design and maintain anomaly detection pipelines for infrastructure.
- Drive detection fidelity by reducing false positives and increasing signal coverage.
- Evaluate and integrate machine learning techniques into detection systems.
- Ship customer-facing features across the CCIA stack.
- Build new systems from scratch and scale existing ones.
- Collaborate with product and data science teams to shape requirements.
- Participate in design discussions and evaluate technical trade-offs.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews and design feedback.
Requirements
- Deep experience in building anomaly detection systems or ML/RL systems.
- Ability to reason about precision/recall trade-offs in detection systems.
- Strong foundations in reliable, scalable backend systems.
- 5+ years of experience shipping production software in modern languages.
- Fluency with time-series data and telemetry pipelines.
- Excellent communication skills for explaining detection logic to diverse audiences.
- A mindset focused on team improvement and mentorship.
