Base Salary
$145k - $218k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and deploy scalable agentic AI frameworks and generative AI solutions for critical banking use cases.
- Develop and integrate agentic AI systems using multiple model providers and platforms, including OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google APIs.
- Build full-stack applications with LLM-driven workflows and AI coding tools.
- Drive MVP-first rapid prototyping, iterative delivery, experimentation, and production hardening.
- Define metrics, evaluation strategies, and feedback loops to improve AI system performance and behavior.
- Research, prototype, and integrate advances in agent-based, autonomous, and generative AI technologies.
- Contribute hands-on within cross-functional teams and provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
- Align AI solutions with banking and financial-services requirements, regulated-environment constraints, and business outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Java with Spring Boot, plus working knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript with Angular and Node.js.
- Understanding of knowledge representation, planning, multi-agent systems, LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, MCPs, and agent frameworks such as Google ADK.
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, NumPy, and Pandas.
- Experience with AI coding tools such as Devin, Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and Antigravity.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals including Git, CI/CD, testing, code reviews, agile delivery, application resiliency, and security.
- Experience designing API-first, microservices-based, and event-driven architectures, including data engineering patterns for AI systems.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Solid understanding of banking or financial services and regulated environments.
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience with a strong hands-on coding background.
- At least 2 years focused on AI software development, LLM-based solutions, agentic systems, and/or machine learning.
- Demonstrated experience delivering enterprise-scale AI capabilities into production.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Experience in data science, statistical modeling, experimentation, and mentoring junior AI engineers is preferred.
