Responsibilities
- Develop automated tests and test frameworks.
- Perform functional and non-functional testing, including performance, security, resiliency, and chaos testing.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines and automate aspects of the software engineering process.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve or establish quality processes.
- Review designs and code and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop personal skills, support team development, and adopt AI-assisted engineering practices.
- Proactively use emerging AI capabilities to improve workflows and share team best practices.
Requirements
- Strong automation testing knowledge for REST APIs.
- Good Python and/or JavaScript/TypeScript knowledge.
- Strong software development experience combined with testing and automation experience.
- Experience with front-end UI and customer-experience testing, such as Playwright.
- Experience automating end-to-end customer flows.
- Experience with performance testing frameworks such as Gatling or wrk2.
- Experience with Docker.
- Cloud experience; AWS is a plus.
- Preferred experience includes Jenkins or GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Nomad, Terraform, CloudFormation, Kafka, Grafana, and Kibana.
