Base Salary

$112k - $162k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, author, and audit technical designs while owning end-to-end delivery of well-defined features.
  • Develop and maintain scalable backend services, component libraries, Terraform modules, and CI/CD pipelines across Azure and GCP.
  • Create comprehensive testing plans and write unit, component, and end-to-end tests.
  • Implement telemetry, dashboards, and service-level objectives; participate in on-call rotations, root-cause analysis, and operational improvements.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage dependencies, resolve blockers, and improve engineering processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience building backend, platform, or reliability-focused services.
  • Experience with at least one of C#, Java, or Go.
  • Experience with distributed systems, data structures, production reliability fundamentals, web services, REST/gRPC APIs, and JSON or structured data.
  • Experience with Git, complex CI/CD workflows, automated testing frameworks, and Agile practices.
  • Experience using coding assistants such as Claude or GitHub Copilot for problem solving, debugging, profiling, and documentation.
  • Preferred qualifications include Azure or GCP backend operations, Terraform and infrastructure-as-code, progressive delivery or feature-flagging systems, observability tooling, incident response, on-call rotations, root-cause analysis, and end-to-end feature ownership.
