Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze requirements with business analysts and stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications.
- Customize and configure Salesforce applications, including custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other systems using APIs and middleware.
- Troubleshoot Salesforce application issues and support performance and user experience improvements.
- Create and maintain design specifications, operational runbooks, code comments, technical documentation, and user guides.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding, testing, and deployment best practices.
- Work with developers and administrators across Service Cloud, Community Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Social Studio.
- Provide internal training to teammates and business users and support solutions from initial requirements through implementation.
Requirements
- A baccalaureate degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, or a related field plus six years of satisfactory full-time related experience.
- Alternatively, a baccalaureate degree in any field plus ten years of satisfactory full-time related experience.
- Education and/or experience equivalent to either stated qualification may be accepted.
- Strong Salesforce development and configuration experience, independent judgment, technical expertise, problem-solving ability, and strong written, presentation, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Java experience is a plus.
