Responsibilities

  • Discover agency problems onsite and translate them into compliant, buildable solutions tied to mission outcomes.
  • Design, configure, integrate, and ship AI agents, workflows, automations, integrations, data pipelines, and other tools on Axon’s platform.
  • Build and deploy AI-powered workflows using agents, prompts, RAG, and evaluations, then drive hands-on adoption with users.
  • Own customer outcomes across deployment, adoption, optimization, and ongoing success, including defining metrics and measuring operational impact.
  • Troubleshoot onsite issues and coordinate root-cause resolution across Product, Engineering, Support, and Services.
  • Assess operational workflows, lead mission reviews and strategic planning, and build relationships with agency leadership and command staff.
  • Capture field intelligence, document reusable playbooks, influence product roadmaps, and identify expansion opportunities with Sales.
  • Maintain a consistent onsite presence of approximately 3–4 days per week and support Sales-to-Post-Sales onboarding and handoff.

Requirements

  • Typically 8+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles, program management, operational transformation, or complex deployment environments.
  • Proven experience shipping working automations, agents, workflows, integrations, or AI-enabled tools in customer environments, including configuration and integration logic.
  • Comfort working across hardware, software, cloud, AI-enabled technologies, and integrated systems.
  • Strong communication skills with technical teams and senior stakeholders, including command staff in mission-critical environments.
  • Ability to take ownership in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments and navigate priorities across Product, Engineering, Sales, Support, and Services.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain CJIS compliance and adhere to security standards.
  • Former law enforcement or military experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in public safety, law enforcement, corrections, or other mission-critical operational environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Records, Evidence, digital workflows, AI-enabled platforms, or integrated public safety ecosystems is preferred.
  • Background in forward-deployed engineering, solutions architecture, or large-scale operational transformation is preferred.
