Responsibilities
- Lead specification and implementation standards for a feature area using executable SDD/BDD specifications.
- Use Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent agentic coding tools across the full software development lifecycle.
- Review AI-generated code and attestations for correctness, edge cases, security implications, and alignment with specifications.
- Lead complex features and cross-team systems from specification through production.
- Design, implement, and ship reliable, maintainable solutions for high-volume, high-availability SaaS environments.
- Define technical standards and orchestrate unit and integration test development.
- Mentor L1 and L2 engineers and serve as a technical voice on engineering practices.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA engineers on requirements and delivery.
- Communicate through specifications, code reviews, and asynchronous updates for globally distributed teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing enterprise or SaaS software in production environments.
- Daily personal fluency with agentic coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalents.
- Proven experience with spec-first workflows, attestation practices, and BDD/SDD development systems.
- Demonstrated ability to ship complex features independently from end to end.
- Strong experience with Golang, PHP, or the Node.js/TypeScript ecosystem and solid unit and integration testing skills.
- Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL data stores.
- Experience maintaining automated unit, integration, or end-to-end test suites.
- Experience working in Agile delivery environments with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong written communication skills for specifications, code reviews, and asynchronous updates.
- Preferred experience with AWS or equivalent cloud platforms and microservices architectures.
- Preferred familiarity with containerization, infrastructure-as-code, or observability tooling.
- Preferred experience developing or integrating AI/ML features in production SaaS products.
- Background in B2B SaaS, CRM, or revenue technology is preferred.
