Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain backend services for AI Platform products.
- Develop production systems using Python or other modern backend languages.
- Build and evolve REST APIs and/or gRPC services.
- Design and maintain relational and/or NoSQL data models.
- Build and maintain asynchronous processing flows.
- Work on real-time streaming features and service communication patterns.
- Write automated tests and contribute to CI-based quality gates.
- Debug production issues across service boundaries.
- Collaborate with frontend, product, and AI/ML teams.
- Contribute to code reviews and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- At least five years of professional backend software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Experience building and maintaining REST APIs and/or gRPC services.
- Experience with relational databases and/or NoSQL data stores.
- Experience with asynchronous processing patterns.
- Proficiency with Docker and modern backend development workflows.
- Strong testing discipline, including unit and integration testing.
- Experience building or operating services on cloud infrastructure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
