Responsibilities
- Collaborate in a cross-functional team to plan, build, and support customer-focused software.
- Work across the software lifecycle from code commit through production operation using a You Build It, You Run It mindset.
- Collaborate with teams outside product engineering and work closely with customers to understand their needs.
- Support production systems using monitoring tools such as Datadog and promote stable, observable systems.
- Contribute to engineering culture, communities, product direction, and improvements that increase user value and impact.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of modern web applications and experience building TypeScript or JavaScript applications.
- Experience using Python and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and experience with AWS serverless services and/or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience with test automation, production support, and observability practices such as RUM and tracing.
- Experience working collaboratively with strong engineering practices and a focus on customer value, iterative improvement, and continuous learning.
