Responsibilities

  • Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, automation, and deployment.
  • Develop and enhance Splunk services and add-ons for data ingestion, normalization, and processing at scale.
  • Build AI-based agentic solutions using LLMs, Generative AI, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation.
  • Identify and resolve pre-production bottlenecks and production issues, including customer issues during rotating on-call duties.
  • Participate in design and code reviews and improve code maintainability, diagnosability, and serviceability.
  • Document work and help prevent future problems by incorporating customer experience insights.

Requirements

  • Strong software engineering fundamentals in data structures and algorithms.
  • Expertise coding in Python.
  • Experience with backend frameworks such as FastAPI and SQL or NoSQL databases.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI.
  • Experience developing CI/CD systems and test automation frameworks.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting skills, including use of associated tools.
  • Spec Driven Development experience is advantageous.
  • Ability to document work, communicate effectively, and learn new topics and work with new people.
