Base Salary
$110k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade full-stack applications.
- Build scalable ReactJS, TypeScript, and JavaScript frontend experiences and backend APIs or microservices using Go, Java, Python, or Node.js.
- Architect AWS cloud-native solutions using containers, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and monitoring.
- Own features end to end from design and deployment through production support and continuous improvement.
- Lead technical design discussions, architecture reviews, code reviews, and engineering quality initiatives.
- Implement unit, integration, API, and Cypress-based UI regression testing and troubleshoot production issues.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and collaborate with product managers, architects, designers, and business stakeholders.
- Communicate technical decisions, risks, trade-offs, dependencies, and delivery status across technical and non-technical teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, with 8+ years of full-stack software engineering experience.
- Deep experience with ReactJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, hooks, and functional components for scalable, high-performance UIs.
- Strong backend development experience with Go, Java, Python, or Node.js, including APIs, microservices, distributed systems, REST, gRPC, Thrift, and Koa.
- Knowledge of system design, distributed systems, scalability, resiliency, and performance optimization.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases including PostgreSQL, MySQL, Aurora, RDS, MongoDB, DynamoDB, and Redis.
- Strong AWS experience, including ECS, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, and CloudWatch, plus Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and CircleCI.
- Experience with unit, integration, API, and UI testing using Jest and Cypress, along with observability and monitoring using Datadog and CloudWatch.
- Understanding of networking and security fundamentals including DNS, authentication, encryption, and secure API design.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Gemini, Claude Code, and GitHub Copilot, and with Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Ability to independently own complex technical initiatives, solve difficult problems, communicate effectively, manage stakeholders, mentor engineers, and balance technical quality with business priorities.
- Preferred experience with Kafka, AWS EventBridge, SQS, Databricks, Airflow, Temporal, Elasticsearch, Bazel, AWS CDK, CloudFormation, enterprise design systems, shared UI libraries, monorepos, high-scale SaaS, marketplace, PropTech, or customer-facing digital products.
