Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment, configuration, management, and standardization of AWS and Azure public-cloud infrastructure.
- Deploy, maintain, and manage hybrid-cloud and dedicated on-premises solutions across global datacenters.
- Establish enterprise standards for cloud automation, technical documentation, governance, and operational best practices.
- Lead large-scale maintenance, cloud migrations, account takeovers, incident root cause analyses, and preventative remediation efforts.
- Automate recurring operational remediation and build self-healing infrastructure mechanisms.
- Tune monitoring to reduce alert fatigue and improve the quality of operational signals.
- Provide advanced engineering support, complex troubleshooting, technical escalation, and customer-solution delivery support.
- Present and defend technical designs, architectural changes, and service-enhancement proposals to internal teams and management.
- Collaborate with engineering and Problem Management teams to resolve issues and track corrective actions.
- Mentor and actively develop engineering talent.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience deploying, configuring, and managing virtual and/or cloud infrastructures.
- Proven experience architecting, managing, and scaling multi-cloud or hybrid environments.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale datacenter-to-public-cloud migrations.
- Expertise in highly available, multi-region architectures with complex disaster recovery and active-active failover.
- Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate (SAA-C03) certification.
- Strong knowledge of hosting-solution components, including firewalls and server hardware.
- Technical understanding of IP, MPLS, and VoIP technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of large, complex hosting solutions and awareness of Microsoft and Linux technologies and integration.
- Awareness of backup platforms and experience with the ITIL framework.
- Advanced AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud architect certifications are advantageous; Red Hat, Microsoft, NetApp, or related certifications are a plus.
- Excellent English language skills are required.
