Base Salary

$193k - $262k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of multi-engineer software projects.
  • Own architectural direction and make scalable, performant, extensible, and secure system design decisions.
  • Write high-quality production code and evaluate generative AI tools for engineering productivity.
  • Drive technical strategy and balance short-term delivery with long-term maintainability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional and partner teams to resolve requirements, interface, dependency, and system design tradeoffs.
  • Establish operational practices including alarms, telemetry, runbooks, and retrospectives.
  • Mentor and coach engineers and contribute to recruiting efforts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
  • Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

  • Annual base salary range of $193,300.00-$261,500.00 is provided for USA, California, Santa Clara.
