Base Salary
$193k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of multi-engineer software projects.
- Own architectural direction and make scalable, performant, extensible, and secure system design decisions.
- Write high-quality production code and evaluate generative AI tools for engineering productivity.
- Drive technical strategy and balance short-term delivery with long-term maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional and partner teams to resolve requirements, interface, dependency, and system design tradeoffs.
- Establish operational practices including alarms, telemetry, runbooks, and retrospectives.
- Mentor and coach engineers and contribute to recruiting efforts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- 5+ years of experience leading the design or architecture of new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or engineering team lead.
- Preferred: 5+ years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.

- Annual base salary range of $193,300.00-$261,500.00 is provided for USA, California, Santa Clara.
