Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and scale distributed ingestion and job systems for full and incremental customer GTM data synchronization across many tenants and sources.
- Design and build the multi-tenant data platform, including its canonical data model, serving and query layer, and service contracts.
- Build systems for high scale and concurrency with strong latency, cost, correctness, and failure-recovery characteristics.
- Own instrumentation, tracing, SLOs, reliability, and operational health for platform services.
- Extend ingestion through clean, source-pluggable adapter contracts.
- Partner with the SVP of Engineering on platform and data architecture, schema evolution, survivorship, entity resolution, and engineering patterns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building production backend and distributed systems, including deep ownership of high-throughput data pipelines, job or workflow systems, or multi-tenant data platforms.
- Strong current Python skills and production code-writing and code-review experience; TypeScript is a plus.
- Strong understanding of concurrency, idempotency, consistency, partitioning, retries, and failure recovery, with production ownership of correctness and uptime for data-intensive services.
- Strong cloud-native application development experience with containerized services, queues and workers, object storage, and relational data at scale using AWS or an equivalent cloud.
- Strong relational data modeling and SQL experience at scale, including ownership of a production database schema and its evolution.
- Experience with Salesforce or another large enterprise data source, multi-tenant isolation, master-data management, entity resolution, survivorship, or watermark-based incremental synchronization is valued.
- Experience with durable execution tools such as Temporal or Inngest and evaluation or observability tools such as Langfuse or Braintrust is a bonus.
- Founder, founding-engineer, or 0-to-1 data platform experience is a bonus.
